The GITS Publicity Cell organized a Poster Competition on 22nd Feb 2016 on the theme “Women Empowerment”. The competition invited entrants to celebrate and empower women by creating a unique poster.

This was a great way to get the students interested in social issues and to make them think about the importance of empowering women.The students participated with great enthusiazm.  It was amazing to see very creative and thought provoking posters.

The Guests of Honour for the competition were Dr M Venugopal Rao (Principal, GITS) and Dr Babita Jain (Dean, Academic Cell). The Esteemed judges for the competition were Dr Radha Chaudhary (HOD, Basic Sciences) and Dr Rajeev Mathur (Dean,R&D andHOD, ECE).

The winners of the competition were:

• I Prize: Ms. Habiba Kurabar (CSE I Year)
• II Prize: Ms. Dishani Vijayvargiya (CSE II Year)
• III Prize: Meghal Mandot (ECE I Year)
