Computer Science and Engineering students of Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies, Udaipur visited IIT Roorkee to attend their Annual Techfest “Cognizance 2019” from 15th to 17th of March 2019 with Asst. Professor Mr Vishal Jain under the support of Dr. Vikas Misra (Director GITS) and Dr. Amit Sinhal (HOD CSE GITS).

Cognizance is the 2nd largest Techfest of Asia. 28 students from GITS CSE attended the fest this year. Chief Guest of Inaugural Ceremony was Dr. P.V. Venkitakrishnan (Director CBPO, ISRO Headquarters) and key note speaker was Dr. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi (Director IIT Roorkee).

Technical Events: Error 404, Revival of Rivers, Mind Sweeper

Robotic Events: Power Drift, Quadrone, Poseidon

Gaming Events: PUBG, DOTA 2, Counter-Strike, FIFA

Workshops: Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security, Android App Development
