An awareness lecture on “Basics of production and operations and its Role in Career Development” was delivered by Dr. Manish Sharma in order to introduce our production and operation club to the new batch on 4th November 2019.

He shared his knowledge about the basic concepts of the production and operations management i.e.  Introduction of production & operation management, facility planning, work design, job design, planning and control, supply chain management etc.

Objectives and importance of operation and production club were also discussed with students to realise, how club can provide platform for operations management enthusiasts to interact, learn & to bridge the gap between the classroom training and the practical application.

It was an eye opener session which helped the students to get an insight about Supply Chain Management, operations management and career in manufacturing industry.  He highlighted the increasing demand for qualified logistics professional in domestic & International markets and career opportunities.

The session was coordinated by Dr. Manish Sharma along with Student coordinators Amir Ali, Dhruv Rajawat & Ayushi Nahar.
