As a social responsibility GITS has initiated Career Guidance Sessions and Technical awareness camp on latest industry oriented software & hardware technologies for engineering branch for diploma students in the region. Dr. P.C. Bapna, (Dean Academics) , Prof. Rajeev Mathur (Dean, Student Affairs),  Mr. Vivek Sharma (Assoc Prof, MBA), Mr. B. L. Jangir (Finance Controller) and Mr. Mohit Mathur Assistant Prof(EE)  counseled  students about  various career opportunities available in field of Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering,  Electronics & Communication Engineering. Career Counseling and information about advancement in technology are processes that will help students to decide about educational choices, discover career interests & skills to provide a platform to explore and learn about different occupations to develop a realistic and achievable plan of action.

Under this initiative students about 100 students from various verticals of technology viz. ECE, EE & CS/IT branches of Vidhya Bhawan Polytechnic College, Udaipur with 8 faculty members attended the workshop. They were trained  about the latest technical development and trends by conducting 3 parallel workshops on Circuit Design and Simulation of Basic Electronic Components, Advanced Trends in Electrical Systems, and Internet of Things.  All students learned about the latest industry tools and engineering methods theoretically and practically through industry experienced GITS faculty members of respective branches

These workshops will be regularly conducted free of charge and all diploma college from the region can avail this facility.
