Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies organised an expert training in Image Building and Corporate Etiquette to prepare the students who will enter the workforce and join the corporate world. 

The Director, Prof. Dr. K.N.Sheth stated that the purpose of this training is to enhance the skills and knowledge of students in the area of business etiquette with guidance from an expert in the field, where the student would learn how to present themselves and treat others properly and respectfully in a business or corporate environment. Teaching corporate etiquette would help redefine student’s confidence which in turn enable them to excel and succeed in today’s corporate culture.

Prof. Lalit Chande, Life Coach and Motivational Trainer, covered a wide range of topics that included personal image building, creating positive first impressions, staying motivated and creating a brand of ourselves to succeed and to consistently maintain the successes in all our endeavours.  Through a series of presentations and role-playing he instructed the students how to communicate effectively, improve physical appearance, and   techniques for self-exploration and improvement.

The students from all branches of engineering, MBA and MCA attended the training followed by a question round at the end. Mr. Arvind Singh Pemawat, Head Training and Placement emphasised the importance of such training sessions as it would enhance the prospects of the students during the recruitment process.

The institute aims to provide to the students with a series of personal and career development workshops as these important interpersonal skills are crucial to success in the competitive world.
