Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies, Dabok has launched Website (https://gitseit.com) for Engineers Innovation Techroom (EIT) i.e. an Innovation Lab for the Students. On this day EIT also launched its first Project HYBRID POWER SYSTEM.

GITS Director Dr. Vikas Misra conveyed that the Power system Project generates power using Wind Energy, Solar Energy and Thermal energy. This power generation system is shown on a very small scale.

During the inauguration ceremony of EIT Innovation Lab, Mr. J.P Agarwal – Chairman of Geetanjali Group conveyed that at today’s competitiveness, students should be trend towards Research and innovation so for this same EIT Innovation Lab is essential. This lab will help the students for acquiring experimental knowledge along with studies.

Dean Academic and Head of the Department Dr. P C Bapna stated that EIT Lab will select 30 Students per Year. These selected Students will be given special type of technical training, so that students can inventively learn and use innovative techniques. After the training, the students will use their creative knowledge to create small products and launch them in the market, which will result in the overall development of the students.

EIT Lab will also launch Electric Bike, Mini Drons and Robot. The research work of this lab is being done under the supervision of Mr. Rameshwar Deora and Mr. Bherudas Vairagi who is working as Assistant Professor in the Electrical Department, GITS.
