The National Science Day was celebrated on 27^th Feb 2016 by the skill-development cell and Conference & Event Planar club in the department of Electrical Engineering.

National science day is celebrated as one of the main science festivals in GITS every year. This time Skill Development Cell and Event Planner cell had organized a Technical Written Test, quiz competition and an expert lecture by Dr. Naveen Jain (PhD-IIT Kanpur) & Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering- CTAE, Udaipur.

Interactive session with Dr. Naveen Jain:

Dr. Jain shared his vast views and detailed about the recent developments in Generation of Electrical Power. He talked about the various perceptions of human beings and then explained all chains of power systems like Hydropower plant, Solar power plant, wind power plant ,nuclear power plant ,gas turbines etc.

He also gave answers to all the queries of EE students . Mr. B L Jangir, Finance Controller, gits felicitated Dr. Naveen Jain with memento and bouquet. Mr. Shakti Singh Shekhawat, Head, Department of Electrical Engineering welcomed the guest, all the faculties and students who were deeply indulged in the event.
