GITS Alumni Forum

GITS Alumni Forum is an Official Platform of Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies Udaipur which provides a platform for nurturing a strong, reciprocal relationship between alumni, the community, and the institute. The purpose of the Alumni Forum is to foster the spirit of engagement with and strengthen the ties between all entities that have shared or continue to share a bond with GITS. The forum provides opportunities to showcase and highlight recent and past successes of the alumni, students, staff, faculty and the institute.

Our mission is to promote academic excellence of GITS by strengthening ties, communication and goodwill between the Institute, its alumni and current students. Personal and professional engagement and contributions from the Alumni is expected to foster an environment of curiosity, innovativeness and healthy competition among the students.

The college is hopeful of continued interaction with the students of yesteryears and desirous to provide a platform to access a variety of benefits and services through Alumni Relations, whether by way of renewed friendships, meeting fellow alumni in different fields, obtaining professional advice or recommendations, or providing avenues for those who are searching for new career opportunities.

The core activities of GITS alumni Forum are:

• Keep Alumni conversant with the programs and activities of the college
• Develop alumni programs that foster engagement with the alumni
• Assist in the growth of its academic, administrative, cultural, and extracurricular activities.
• Foster innovation and entrepreneurship by designing programs and discussions among the students and members.

GITS Alumni Association will be a dynamic, member- focused organization, driven by Indian values and will involve the greatest possible number of alumni and alumnae with GITS by creating a range of programs and services so appealing that alumni will seek to remain engaged with the GITS as well as with each other for the betterment of society and nation building.

The GITS Alumni Association will achieve this vision through its mission to: assist the alumni in the pursuit of excellence, continue the friendships formed in GITS, build strong and mutually beneficial ties between GITS and its diverse alumni, promote goodwill in the community and create a dynamic alumni programs that will stimulate interest, build loyalty, increase involvement and generate support for the institute.

• To promote and foster mutually beneficial interaction between the Alumni and the present students of GITS, Udaipur and between the Alumni themselves.
• To encourage the Alumni to take an active and abiding interest in the progress of GITS, Udaipur, so as to contribute towards enhancement of the social utility of their Alma Mater.
• To suitably recognize outstanding social and community service by the Alumni and the students of GITS.
• To undertake to organize activities of a civic or charitable nature & also to increase public awareness of the role of technology in value-addition in the economic and social development of the nation.
• To do all such other lawful things as are conductive or incidental to the attainment of the above objectives and/or beneficial to the interests of the Institute and its Alumni.
