Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, GITS has organized a National Workshop on “Design and Simulation of Microwave Monolithic Integrated Circuit using CST Studio Suite” from 29th & 30th August 2018. The workshop was conducted by technical experts from CST Microwave Studio & Jyoti Microsystems, Ahmedabad, India.
CST Studio Suite® is a package of tools for designing, simulating and optimizing electromagnetic systems, and is used in leading technology and engineering companies around the world in a diverse range of fields. CST Studio Suite offers considerable product to market advantages such as shorter development cycles, virtual prototyping before physical trials, and optimization instead of experimentation.
The “Complete Technology” philosophy of CST Studio Suite means that solvers for applications across the EM spectrum are contained within a single user interface, and can be coupled in many different combinations. This gives engineers the flexibility to analyze and optimize whole systems made up of multiple components in an efficient and straightforward way. Co-design with other SIMULIA products allows EM simulation to be integrated into the design flow and drives the development process from the earliest stages.
Around 50 students, research scholars and faculties attended the workshop from various engineering colleges.
