Enthusiasm and energy filled the campus at GITS as Samsung India set-up the Samsung Experience Zone on 3rd September 2019.  The programme was a part of Samsung Innovation Awards that aims to recognize and reward innovations by students who have creative ideas that have the potential to revolutionize products and concepts for everyday living.

The Samsung Innovation Awards, conceptualised in 2011, seek to support and encourage young talent and professionals who have incorporated innovative approaches, sought to improvise different systems and processes, developed indigenous products and services for fulfilling mass needs thereby transforming lives and creating sustainable solutions for the benefit of the society at large.

The programme comprised many fun activities in individual and group categories to enable students to learn-at-play and improvise creative solutions by putting them through challenging situations. Challenges stirred the students to design, develop and demonstrate the potential of their ideas and to address practical solutions in realtime. The Samsung Experience Zone saw an overwhelming response from the students of B.Tech and MCA.

The winner Mr Ashvini Rana and Ajay Sharma were First and given the Samsung A-10 Mobile phone.

Many other students won many consolation prizes consisting of Samsung merchandise.
