VISIT TO MEWAR BIO-DIVERSITY PARK OF MBA STUDENTS

Students of MBA I and III Semester of MBA Department, Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies were taken to Mewar Biodiversity Park on 21st September.
Mewar Biodiversity Park is a prominent place for being a home to many fauna species which include but not limited to the species of reptiles, mammals, birds, amphibians, and ordinates. The natural forest wealth here is good. There exists a mixture of thorny and deciduous forest as per champion and Seth. On out slopes there exist kumta and its associate the Thor scrub whereas the inner slopes support Godal/Gurjan, Salar, Karaya and associated species. The nalah banks and the moist valleys support good diversity. Such areas support very good quantitative and qualitative diversity of Bis tendu, Timru, Mahua, Bahera, Sitaphal, Chandan, Harsingare, Karonda, Dhavri, Climbers, wood climbers, tubers, ferns, bryophytes etc. Recreational centre and Purohito Ka Talab are other attractions of the park.
The students enjoyed recreational activities like Nature trail walk, Zip line and valley crossing. They were also exposed to tree houses. The students relished the company of nature and also learnt the ways to save the biodiversity of the nature.
